TASUED MATRICULATES 6,715 STUDENTS FOR 2019/2020 ACADEMIC SESSION

Hard work, perseverance and commitment to study have been prescribed as prerequisites for outstanding academic performance.

  The Vice Chancellor of Tai Solarin University of Education, Prof. Abayomi Arigbabu stated this recently during the 2019/2020 matriculation ceremony of the Institution, where 6,715 new students took oath of allegiance.

Speaking at the ceremony, the Vice Chancellor disclosed that TASUED remained the most subscribed State University in the country with overwhelming number of applicants applying for limited admission space in the University before the lucky ones were admitted.

Prof. Arigbabu, however,  urged the new students to face their studies in order to attain great heights in their academics and  compete favourably in the global market after graduation.

He, however, warned the matriculating students to shun all forms of deviant behaviours, as the University had zero tolerance for all vices, coupled with stiff penalities for various offences.

Prof. Arigbabu assured the students of maximum security, stable academic calendar and conducive learning environment, which he noted, makes the University shoulder higher than their contemporaries.

The Vice Chancellor, thereafter, urged the new students to always contact the University Counselor when necessary and to also avail themselves of maximum relaxation through sporting activities as well as engagement in religious activities.
The Oath of allegiance was, thereafter, administered by the University Acting Registrar, Mr. Tunde Oduwole.

In the same vein,  the National Alumni Association of the University has awarded a financial gift to the University Scholar who doubled as the Best Student in 100 level for 2018/2019 academic session, MISS Elibe PATRICIA OGADINMA  who has a Cumulative GPA of 4.88. The award was presented by the Alumni President, Mr. Abdullahi Oyekanmi.

 She is of the Department of Biology, in the College of Science  and Information Technology of the University.

TASUED matric & make-up test update!!!

*_On the issue of the* *matric and makeup test._* 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Firstly, conducting matric is a ceremonial function of the school. There is a reason why the matric day hasn't been held yet. And it is for the benefit of the fresh students, especially those that haven't paid school fees. The new regulation of JAMB is that institutions must forward the name of all matriculating students to JAMB at least, two weeks before the matric day. To get on this list, you must have matric number. And we all know that for anyone to have matric number, s/he must pay school fee. So if they had held the matric before conducting E-test, several students won't still be able to participate in the test and their admission would have been forfeited since their names wouldn't be recognized by JAMB. ADVICE ON JAMB ADMISSION FOR ALL PRESENT 100 LEVEL STUDENT!!

I notice that some students are yet to be offered Admission by JAMB in which this is delaying them in submission of their Brown File. Why are you yet to be offered Admission by JAMB? *1)* For instance when  you register for JAMB you choose Economics or any other course but TASUED gave you another course,you are to do change of course on jamb portal;  without this JAMB won't give you Admission. *2)*  There are some that are yet to accept JAMB Caps and some are yet to upload there O level result  *3)* Some are yet to accept JAMB transfer, after accepting it, print it out and submit it to the Admission office at *(BLOCK F)* ,they will surely attend to you. With this am very sure that you will be offered Admission by JAMB. So I will urge those affected that they should make a move on this so as to meet up before the deadline! if possible they will extend the date for the  submission of Brown File do the necessary things now to avoid late submission. _I WISH EVERYONE
