*_On the issue of the* *matric and makeup test._* 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Firstly, conducting matric is a ceremonial function of the school. There is a reason why the matric day hasn't been held yet. And it is for the benefit of the fresh students, especially those that haven't paid school fees. The new regulation of JAMB is that institutions must forward the name of all matriculating students to JAMB at least, two weeks before the matric day. To get on this list, you must have matric number. And we all know that for anyone to have matric number, s/he must pay school fee. So if they had held the matric before conducting E-test, several students won't still be able to participate in the test and their admission would have been forfeited since their names wouldn't be recognized by JAMB.
